I probably should never have gone to college...I ended up changing majors 8 times, finally landing in photography because I was burnt out and it was an easy pass.  But through the process, I discovered how much I loved photography and capturing special moments for people that can never be re-lived!  

When I started my *first* photography business in 2009, I had NO idea what I was doing. I was decent at photography, but my business skills were lacking...BIG TIME.  I ended up closing that business in the same year. 

But in 2015, after we had our second child, I lost my bookkeeping job and we almost lost our house.  Out of necessity, I started my photography business again, and God truly gave me the space and the energy to dig in deep and finally figure it out this time.

I had a lot of trial and error, but I got it down to a system, and within a few months, I figured out how to market my business effectively, and replace the bookkeeping income I was missing.
